Education
The Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandising program at Central Washington University has provided me with excellent knowledge and skills that will benefit me and my future career. I have gained hands on experience with many different aspects of the fashion industry including, merchandising math, buying, sewing, designing, trend forecasting, digital presentation/visuals, visual displays, and basic knowledge of the industry.

Personal Strengths
Some of my strengths include organization, time management, and creativity. I also posses a strong work ethic and dedication to producing quality work. I have a willingness to learn and develop new skills, as well as the ability to pick up new concepts quickly. I have developed problem solving and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work individually or in group settings.

Values
I value hard work and self-growth. I am constantly pushing myself to achieve higher goals and always give everything I do 100%. Academics are a big part of my life. I love to learn new things and gain new skills to work on and strengthen. I strive to be the best version of myself in every way I can. One of my favorite quotes is, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel". It is important for me to do my best to have a positive impact on those who come in contact with me whatever way I can.

Technical Knowledge
The Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandising program has provided me with a variety of technical knowledge. I have an understanding of the math and accounting aspect of the industry as well as the more technical side including trend forecasting, understanding the fashion life-cycle, basic garment construction, textile and fabric knowledge, merchandising, elements of design and visuals, and more. Throughout my college career, I have developed experience in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe creative cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I know how to make advertisements, line sheets, tech flats, technical packages, mood boards, visual displays, spreadsheets, presentations, and more. The Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandising program has made me well rounded and prepared for any job, internship, or career in the fashion industry as a fashion professional.
